Chemically Resistant High Speed Mixer AMV-9 Introduction

The AMV-9 is a high speed mixer designed to offer low cost chemical mixing and blending in small dosing tanks from a range of 100L to 400L capacity.

Unlike our TM range of mixers, the AMV-9 has a 90mm marine style propeller, manufactured entirely in chemically resistant PVC.  The shaft is manufactured in 316 Stainless Steel and covered in PVC, to offer greater chemical resistance.

Powered by a 0.12kW 3 Phase motor, the AMV-9 delivers a speed of 1400 RPM and is suitable for most light or medium industrial agitation tasks, including powder blending and chemical mixing for pH neutralisation and other tasks.


High Speed PVC Mixer AMV-9 Installation

The AMV-9 should be mounted above a dosing tank, pit, sump or storage tank and the propeller and shaft should be covered by the liquid when operational.  If the liquid level in the tank varies then we strongly recommend using a Liquid Level Control device to initiate low level cut off.

Unlike our other mixers the AMV-9 has a fixed shaft length of either 600mm, 800mm, 900mm, or 1100mm.

The mixer should be mounted onto a mixer bridge or tank strengthening plate.  Please consider any additional height requirements, when considering the shaft length.

The AMV-9 utilises a 90mm marine style propeller which is designed to force the liquid into a vortex to provide continual mixing of liquids or powders. The marine style 3 petal arrangement is so designed to maximise the mixer efficiency.


High Speed PVC Mixer AMV-9 with 0.12kW Single Phase Motor

The AMV-9 is fitted with a TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) direct drive motor and manufactured to IP55 specifications.  The standard motor is a 240 V single phase motor.  We also offer a 3 phase 415 VAC motor option for this mixer.


High Speed PVC Mixer AMV-9 Features & Benefits

The AMV-9 is a high speed mixer designed for light industrial duties, where a 3 phase supply is not present and the volume of liquid to be mixed is under 400 Litres.  Designed to offer cost effective entry level mixing, the AMV-9 is available with a fixed shaft length of either 600mm, 800mm, 900mm or 1100mm, with a single phase 240 VAC motor.

The propeller is manufactured in PVC, to improve the chemical resistance of the mixer and provide adequate mixing in smaller vessels.

The 90mm propeller offers efficient mixing and is designed for vessels from 100 - 400 Litres in capacity.  For vessels with variable liquid levels, the AMV-9 can be integrated with our Liquid Level Control devices, to prevent operation where a low level is present.

As a direct drive high speed mixer with a totally enclosed fan cooled motor, the AMV-9 is designed for continuous operation with minimal preventive maintenance, to offer efficient mixing of water treatment, effluent treatment, and process control applications.
