SZ7261
SZ7261 Constant Velocity Flow Cell
The SZ7261 Flow Cell is designed for the use with potentiostatic residual chlorine cells. The constant velocity flow cell controls the liquid speed near the measuring electrode over a wide variety of input flow speeds.
The package includes 2 m of 4 x 6 mm plastic tubing and the fitting for the cell connection to allow for the measurement of chlorine.
The SZ7261 flow cell is made for the measurement of free residual chlorine, chlorine dioxide and dissolved ozone with our SZ283 potentiostatic sensor.
There are a number of advantages for using a potentiostatic chlorine sensor over a standard amperometric chlorine sensor. When a standard amperometric cell is used to measure low concentrations of chlorine, it must be frequently zero and span calibrated to ensure accuracy. The main advantage is that the potentiostatic sensors require less frequent calibration and maintenance.
The cell’s manufacturing characteristics allow the sample to run through the potentiostatic electrode site with a constant velocity of 10 to 30 litres/hour and the in-flow can be regulated through a check valve. The SZ7261 also allows for installation of our SZ283 potentiostatic electrode or a temperature sensor. The SZ7261 includes the necessary tubing for grabbing the sample along with wall mounting accessories.
