AWE141 Paperless Chart Recorders / Data Logger
The AWE141 is a powerful and versatile compact-multichannel-controller with a capability to record data, Thanks to that it is one of the first industrial devices which integrates the advanced control functions (PID, ON/OFF, time & profiles etc.) and logging of setpoints, excitations and current state of controlled objects. The AWE141 is the AWE99's bigger brother. It has all features included in AWE99, but in addition it has a bigger display, more inputs/outputs and even more logic channels.
The AWE141 Data Logger is a sophisticated multichannel 144 DIN panel mounting instrument which displays data on a large colour TFT touch-panel screen, Data can be displayed as a numerical value, analogue meter movement displays, vertical or horizontal charts or graphs, IE tradition chart recording with vertical or horizontal traces or even a bar graph.
The AWE141 can record any 60 measurement channels at a speed of 10 samples per second. The Data can be logged to the internal 1.5gb storage enabling for data logging of up to 300,000,000 records.
The function of data logging has been also optimized for the use of hardware resources of this device - the channels for data logging are grouped (1-6 channels) and in each group a speed of data logging can be freely set. Additionally, there is a unique option of alternative (higher or lower) speed data logging, which is set off only under userspecified conditions. This solution allows you to precisely trace the object parameters in critical situations.The AWE141 also includes an Auto Log Creation option which automatically generates logs based on your set parameters, this is handy for creating daily reports etc.
The recorded data can be obtained from the internal memory in a way which suits you best. You can use a USB flashdrive or Ethernet which allows you to perform the task wherever you are. The process of retrieving data is very simple and you can choose to export only selected and relevant files. Real-time measurements can be read-out via the Ethernet (Modbus TCP) or a RS-485 link (Modbus RTU).
Based on Linux firmware, it is stable and the touch screen makes configuration easy and comfortable and data presentation also readable and attractive. Although the AWE141 is built in a quite small housing, it can integrate up to 48 inputs, and its construction allows user almost free configuration by choosing up to 3 from 27 available input/output modules.
