AC-VEI 11219 Chemical Injection Quill Introduction

The AC-VEI 11219 injection quill is designed to be inserted into a process to allow a chemical reagent to be injected directly into the centre of a pipeline. With an integrated isolating ball valve the injection quill can be easily withdrawn from the process pipework for cleaning or maintenance.

The AC-VEI has a 1/2" BSP process connection to allow simple integration into pipework. Manufactured in PVC with a choice of seal and O-ring materials to ensure a wide range of chemical compatibility.

The maximum insertion length of the AC-VEI 11219 is 175mm ensuring that it's compatible with pipework measuring up to 14" Ø to give a centralised dose of chemical reagent.

For smaller pipework installations, the AC-VEI 11219 can be trimmed to the desired length and the non-return valve positioned at the installation point. The minimum acceptable length of the AC-VEI is 25mm making it suitable for use with 2" Ø pipework.

The AC-VEI 11219 includes an integrated non-return valve - this prevents any of the process solution in the pipework from working it's way back into the injection quill to the dosing tube. When working with a non-return valve and with pipeline installations, it's important to ensure that the dosing pump can deliver against the pressure in the pipework.

The isolation valve means that the injection quill can be quickly withdrawn from the process pipework and process flow can be isolated.

The dosing tube is connected via a compression fitting at the rear of the injection quill and is suitable for either 4x6mm or 8x12mm dosing tube.

AC-VEI 11219 Features & Benefits

The AC-VEI 11219 is a PVC injection quill is of proven design for a long operational life span. In processes where cleaning or periodic maintenance is required the AC-VEI 11219 includes an integrated isolation valve. This allows the injection quill to be withdrawn from the process for cleaning and maintenance while the process pipework is isolated.

The non-return valve allows the injection quill to remain in operation without the process chemical returning back through the injection quill and into the dosing tube.

With a maximum length of 175mm the AC-VEI 11219 can be easily modified to shorten the length to 25mm for dosing into narrow pipework.

With a 1/2" BSP process connection and compression fittings suitable for 4 x 6mm or 8 x 12mm dosing tube, the AC-VEI 11219 is compatible with most dosing pump types.

With wetted parts in PVC and a choice of seal and O-ring material the AC-VEI 11219 is compatible with a wide range of chemical reagents.

    The AC-VEI 11219 is a PVC injection quill designed for delivering chemical reagents directly into the centre of a pipe line. The AC-VEI 11219 includes an isolation valve, allowing the injection quill to be removed from the process and the process connection isolated.

    With the included isolation valve the chemical injection quill can be easily cleaned or periodic maintenance carried out.

    In addition to the isolation valve the AC-VEI 11219 includes a non-return valve to prevent the process solution from returning back through the injection quill. 

    Available with a choice of seals and O-ring materials for increased chemical compatibility the AC VEI is designed to be connected to a dosing pump using the 4 x 6mm or 8 x 12mm compression fittings to connect directly to the dosing tube.

    Measuring 175mm in length the AC-VEI 11377 can be easily trimmed to length so suit a wide range of pipe diameters from 14" down to 2" diameter.
