Low Conductivity pH Electrode
Our Low Conductivity pH Electrode has been designed specifically for applications in solutions with a low conductivity. Where other electrodes would be susceptible to a poor response time and electrode leaching, the 9072-10B offers a fast response time and resistance to electrode leaching.
Low Conductivity pH Electrode Model 9072-10B Introduction
The 9072-10B is a glass bodied, sealed, combination, double junction pH electrode with an over sized glass bulb made from a special low impedance glass, specifically designed for use in low conductivity solutions. Due to the double junction in the 9072-10B low conductivity pH electrode, it can also be used in applications where the solutions react with silver.
The 9072-10B low conductivity pH electrode is suitable for use in both laboratory and industrial applications. When pairing the 9072-10B with an inline electrode holder, we strongly recommend exercising caution during the installation. The large over sized glass dome increases the surface area for readings in low conductivity solution but it is delicate and pressure on the glass dome can cause it to break.
The low conductivity pH Electrode model 9072-10B has a double junction to prevent low conductivity solutions from leaching the electrode reference solution. The reference junction is annular, peripheric, ceramic and non-fouling. The reason that this electrode performs so well in low conductivity applications is because the glass bulb is made from our special low impedance glass and the large over sized domed shape increases surface area and in turn increases the precision and response time. This electrode is specifically designed for use when the conductivity of the solution is low.

The 9072-10B is designed to perform in situations where other pH electrodes aren't able to.
The 9072-10B offers unparalleled repeatability; a non-fouling peripheric annular double junction, which is resistant to electrode leaching in low conductivity environments and electrode poisoning for solutions which react to silver. In addition, the large over size domed glass is made from a special low impedance glass to give accurate and rapid readings, even in low conductivity solutions.
This pH electrode has been uncompromisingly designed for use in low conductivity environments and as such it is only suitable for a pH range of 0-11 pH and at temperatures of 0-50°C.
The 9072-10B pH electrode is widely used with our pH controller range, our inline electrode holders and our portable pH meters.
The mounting cap on the low conductivity pH electrode model 9072-10B is Ryton with a small flange for mounting into our PES style holders.

The 9072-10B pH electrode is available with a number of connection types. As standard we supply the 9072-10B with 3 metres of connecting cable and a BNC fitting.
