D1-10

High Temperature Dip Conductivity Probe With K=1.0

high temperature dip conductivity cell D1-10

The high temperature Dip Conductivity cell D1-10 is designed for the continuous measurement of electrolytic conductivity within tanks, sumps, pits, lagoons and other vessels.

High Temperature Conductivity Cell D1-10 Introduction

The D1-10 conductivity cells are precision manufactured to offer high linearity cells which give very accurate cell constants. The conductivity cells comprise of 3 precision machined graphite electrodes mounted within an epoxy body.

The conductivity cells are constructed from PVDF (Kynar), and epoxy resin with carbon electrodes. They are mounted within a riser tube manufactured in cPVC, PVDF (Kynar) or Stainless Steel for greater chemical and thermal resistance. The riser tube is supplied as standard, measuring 600mm in length, and can be manufactured up to a length of 2 metres.

The available operating temperatures are as follows:-

  • Manufactured in cPVC is suitable for a temperature of up to 85ºC.
  • Manufactured in PVDF or 316 Stainless  Steel is suitable for a temperature of 100ºC.

The D1-10 has a cell constant of K=1.0 which is designed to measure conductivities up to a range of 0 - 100.0mS.

The D1-10 is normally held into the process using retaining clips and optional mounting flanges in PVC (as pictured), or PolyPropylene is also available.

The D1-10 conductivity cell has a detachable connector fitted to the cell head for easy servicing and calibration as standard.  In addition, we are able to offer fitted cell heads for laboratory or portable instruments.

When fitted with a removable head connector, this has easy to access connections for a two wire device for conductivity only, or a 4 wire device for conductivity with temperature compensation.

We strongly recommend pairing a 2 wire device with our specifically shielded conductivity connecting cable LMK2 and a 4 wire device with our conductivity connecting cable with ATC, model LMK4.

D1-10 Automatic Temperature Compensation

The high temperature conductivity Dip cell D1-10 is available with automatic temperature compensation to suit a number of different conductivity controllers or conductivity transmitters. Please specify when ordering the name and manufacture of the conductivity instrument so we can ensure compatibility with the automatic temperature compensation.

D1-10 Dip Conductivity Cell Features & Benefits

The D1-10 is supplied as a complete unit, made to any length from 300mm to 2000mm; ready for simple and permanent installation into a process vessel. It can either be clipped into place or we offer an optional mounting flange.

With a high linearity conductivity cell the D1-10 offers exceptionally accurate conductivity readings and with a high temperature riser tube, the D1-10 is suitable for use at temperatures up to 100ºC.

Easy to use with minimal maintenance required, the D1-10 is suitable for most conductivity applications, and with the automatic temperature compensation, even hot processes can be accurately monitored and controlled.

The D1-10 is often found used in the control of heated rinse waters, and in CIP solution strength control processes.  It is also suitable for use in dairies and brewing applications.

As a reliable and accurate conductivity cell, the D1-10 is a often paired with our C7635 conductivity controller.
