Online Redox probe
Online Redox Probe R8126-10B is designed for online measurements of Redox reactions. It will give uninterrupted Redox measurements whether the probe is mounted within pipe work, or mounted within a process vessel.
Online Redox Probe R8126-10B Introduction
The R8126-10B has a large exposed platinum band and a non-fouling annular reference junction which are designed to remain in constant contact with the measured solution. The large exposed platinum band and the non-fouling annual reference junction ensure accurate Redox measurement and a quick response time to changing Redox values.
The platinum band is protected behind a bulb protector to offer some mechanical protection against solids present within the flow, or under agitation in a process vessel. If there is a high proportion of solids present we would suggest one of our flat platinum disc Redox probes.
The R8126-10B is threaded at the front with a 3/4" male thread for mounting into pipework for online Redox measurements. It also has a rear mounting 3/4" male thread for mounting into a riser tube for online Redox measurements in tanks or other non-pressurised vessels.
The R8126-10B online Redox probe is manufactured in PVDF (Kynar) for greater chemical resistance when used with concentrated chemicals or aggressive Redox reactions. The integral double junction also ensures that the R8126-10B is resistant to electrode poisoning which is recommended when used with chemicals which could react with the silver, silver chloride reference of single junction Redox probes.

With a double junction to prevent electrode poisoning, non-fouling annual ceramic reference and exposed large Platinum band, the online Redox probe R8126-10B combines rapid response times and accurate Redox measurement, with a tough resilience which is demanded for process control and measurement in industry.
Fitted with 10 feet of pH connecting cable and terminating with a BNC connector as standard, the P8126-10B is simple to connect to most Redox controllers.
The body is manufactured from chemically resistant and mechanically strong Kynar (PVDF) and with a ceramic non-fouling reference this tough Redox probe can be immersed in some of the harshest environments, while giving continual online Redox measurements.
The wetted parts make the R8126-10B suitable for an operational temperature between 0-100ºC.
