Dip Redox probe RS90S is designed for the continuous measurement of the Redox value within tanks, sumps, pits, lagoons or any other kind of unpressurised vessel.


Dip Redox Probe RS90s introduction

As standard the RS90S measures 1 metre in length but can be custom built to any length up to 3 metres.

The dip Redox probe comes as standard with a mounting flange allowing it to be permanently mounted inside a process vessel or other unpressurised tank for continual online Redox measurement. The PS90S is also fitted with a length of connecting cable with a BNC connector, allowing easy integration with a quality Redox instrument. Our low impedance specifically shielded connecting cable measures 6 metres from the Redox probe insert to the process connector.

One significant benefit of the RS90S is that it has a replaceable Redox electrode insert which carries model number RS183-20B replacement Redox probe. Using the rear mounted thread, the Redox probe is simply unscrewed and removed. This makes the periodic calibration of the dip Redox assembly as easy as possible and reduces the life time cost of the dip Redox probe.

When the Redox probe is consumed, we only replace the Redox probe insert which means that the remaining probe assembly can be re-used over and over again.

The RS90s is designed to remain submerged within the process solution. As the redox probe insert is manufactured with a large annular platinum band, double junction reference and non-fouling annular reference junction, this means that the dip Redox probe offers accurate measurement of the solutions Redox values.  It responds rapidly to changing Redox values and is resistant to electrode poisoning.  The RS90S only needs to be removed for periodic cleaning and calibration.

The dip Redox probe measures across the ±2000mV range.

The RS90S is supplied as a complete unit and is made to any length from 300mm to 3000mm. Using the supplied mounting flange, the probe is ready for simple and permanent installation into a process vessel.

The dip Redox probe insert (RS183-20B) is a reliable and accurate Redox probe, which is why it and the RS90S often form one of our systems for process control. It is often paired with a dosing tank, Redox controller and a metering pump (and an optional industrial agitator to ensure efficient distribution of reagents).

The whole dip Redox probe assembly is manufactured in PVC and is rated for use within a temperature range of 0-60ºC.

As this is such a popular item the standard 1 metre length units are available ex-stock.
