The PS183-20B is a replacement pH Probe designed to work with our PS90S Dip pH Electrode system.

The probe has a 3/4" BSP mounting thread and is designed with an electrode guard to prevent the glass bulb being compromised from mechanical damage. It has a double junction to resist electrode poisoning and a very fast response time using a free flowing annular ceramic junction.

With the 3/4" BSP thread, it can easily be removed from the dip pH electrode system for calibration or service.

Please note, the PS183-20B was formerly called model number PS183-750-20B; but is now referred to the more straight forward PS183-20B.

Replacement pH Probe model PS183-20B

The PS183-20B replacement pH probe is a double junction, combination pH probe in rugged industrial housing, manufactured in PVC.

The probe has the 3/4" BSP thread at the base so it can easily be screwed into one of our dip assemblies; most commonly the PS90S Submersible pH electrode system.

The PS183-20B construction includes an electrode guard to prevent mechanical damage to the glass bulb, while still allowing excellent contact with the solution to be measured. With a non-fouling annular ceramic junction the response time of the pH probe is excellent and with the non fouling junction it means that this pH sensor has no problems with continual pH measurement.

The PS183-20B is designed as a replacement pH Probe insert for use with the PS90S dip pH electrode assembly. It is designed for mounting in open tanks, pits, sumps or any other non-pressurised vessel. These are commonly mounted within tanks that have dosing pumps, industrial mixers or agitators mounted into them. We would recommend that where an industrial mixer or agitator is present, the liquid to be monitored is reasonably clear of solids or particulates that may damage the glass. In instances where particulate matter is present, we would suggest using our replacement tuff tip pH probe model PTT183-20B.

The PS183-20B is also designed to be resistant to electrode poisoning from solutions which would otherwise react with a silver, silver chloride electrode reference.

Replacement pH Probe Model PS183-20B Features & Benefits

The PS183-20B replacement pH probe with non-fouling annular reference and double junction. This sealed pH probe is designed as a replacement pH probe insert for use with a PS90S dip pH electrode system for submersion in industrial applications that use non-pressurised vessels.

The pH probe has a built in electrode guard to resist against mechanical damage. These probes are frequently mounted in tanks where agitators or industrial mixers are present. This pH electrode is designed for rugged applications and gives precision measurements across the 0-13pH range and is suitable for a temperature range of 0-50°C.

The PS183-20B is supplied with 20 feet of connecting cable as standard and a BNC plug for easy connection to our pH instrument range.

The PTT183-20B is a tuff tip pH Probe, designed to fit into the PTT183-20B Dip pH Electrode system.

The probe has a 3/4" BSP mounting thread which makes it easy to install into the PTT90S dip pH probe assembly. Even better, when it comes to removing the pH probe for calibration, it's simply a case of unscrewing the electrode and carrying through the calibration procedure.

Tuff Tip pH Probe PTT183-20B

The tuff tip liquid reference junction is specifically shaped to prevent the pH bulb from breaking. This is especially important when the dip pH probe assembly is installed into tanks and vessels with mixers or agitators present.

The tuff tip also works as a large annular reference junction, meaning that the porous material is always in contact with the solution being measured and the large surface area gives the tuff tip pH probe an excellent response time to shift in the pH value.

As with all the pH probes with the tuff tip reference, the reference junction is non-fouling meaning that you don't need to inspect, clean or replace a pH probe where the reference has fouled.

The tuff tip pH probe PTT183-20B also features a double junction to ensure that it is resistant to electrode poisoning. This is where the solution being measured can react with the silver, silver chloride reference of a single junction pH electrode, causing poor performance, inaccurate readings and eventually electrode failure.

The tuff tip pH probe not only benefits from the large annular reference junction, it also has a recessed pH bulb.  This makes it very difficult for the bulb to break. If the pH electrode were to be pushed onto a flat surface, the pH bulb would not be in contact with the surface. 

The PTT183-20B combines precision pH measurement with a probe designed to withstand difficult mechanical environments.

With a double junction, the PTT183-20B is resistant to electrode poisoning.

The pH probe is also fitted with 20 feet or 6 metres of connecting cable as standard, meaning that installation into a process vessel, tank or other vessel is as simple as possible.

The 9027-10B inline pH Probe is designed to be screwed into pipework using it's 1/2" male thread. We recommend using a 1/2" or 3/4" tee piece which will allow the pH probe to give continuous pH measurements.

The 9027-10B is fitted as standard with 10 feet of specifically shielded pH cable, terminating in a BNC connection. The pH glass bulb is fully exposed and combines an annular ceramic reference junction, as found in our pH electrode range.

The inline pH probe 9027-10B is fitted with a sealed reference, incorporating our high temperature reference gel, making this pH probe suitable for a temperature range from 0-100ºC.

The silver, silver-chloride (Ag-AgCl) reference combined with the full glass domed bulb and annular ceramic reference junction means that even for continuous online pH measurement, the result is accurate and rapid, in response to changes in pH value.

9027-10B Inline pH Probe Features & Benefits

The 9027-10B is an excellent inline pH probe, designed to be screwed into either a 1/2" or 3/4" Tee piece, using the included 1/2" male thread.

The pH reading is accurate and responsive as a result of the annular ceramic reference and full domed pH bulb even in less than desirable conditions.

The pH probe is fitted with 10 feet of connecting cable making it easy to connect to a suitable pH controller or pH transmitter.

The 1/2" male thread means removing the inline pH probe for periodic calibration is as easy as possible and installation is as simple as screwing the probe into a pipe.

With the sealed gel reference and industrial housing the 9027-10B is suitable for temperatures from 0-100ºC.  

The P8194-10B is an uncompromised pH probe which despite it's fully exposed pH bulb, is tough and designed for harsh industrial environments.

The P8194-10B has two 3/4" male threads.  One at the front allowing it to be mounted inline with pipework for continuous online pH measurement and the other at the rear, allowing for mounting from a riser tube, to become a dip mounting pH sensor.

The P8194-10B is a tough pH probe designed for harsh chemical environments and continual operation whether tank mounted or inline mounted.

The exposed glass pH bulb is protected by a pH guard, so reducing the probability of being compromised by solids in pipework, or under agitation in a vessel with a tank mounted mixer.

The full glass pH bulb and annular reference junction ensure that the response time is rapid to fluctuations in pH value, where process pH has to be held at a specific value or corrected to a pH value. Combined with a double junction for the prevention of electrode poisoning means that this tough pH probe is most commonly found to be used by electroplaters.

The body is manufactured in Kynar (PVDF) for giving this tough pH probe a mechanically strong and chemically resistant outer body. The hexagonal shape of the body makes it possible for this tough pH probe to be tightly screwed into place using a wrench.

P8194-10B Tough pH probe Features & Benefits

With a double junction to prevent electrode poisoning, the probe has a non-fouling annular ceramic reference and an exposed pH bulb. The P8194-10B combines rapid response times and accurate pH measurement with a tough resilience, demanded for process control and measurement within the industry.

Fitted with a 10 ft pH connecting cable and terminating with a BNC connector as standard, the P8194-10B is simple to connect to most pH controllers.

The body is manufactured from chemically resistant and mechanically strong Kynar (PVDF) and with a ceramic non-fouling reference, this tough pH probe can be immersed in some of the harshest environments while maintaining continual and accurate pH measurement.

The wetted parts make the P8194-10B suitable for an operational temperature between 0-100ºC.
