SS-INJ-Q Injection Lance Introduction
The SS-INJ-Q is a 316 stainless steel injection quill, sometimes called an injection lance, which is designed to be inserted into stainless steel pipework for the administering of chemical reagents to the centre of process pipework.
The stainless steel injection quill is commonly used with water treatment chemicals for processes at elevated temperatures such as boiler dosing. Where oxygen scavengers or pH correction chemicals are dosed into boiler feed water, it's important that these chemicals are inserted directly into the centre of the line.
Designed to work harmoniously with our range of chemical dosing pumps, the SS-INJ-Q includes a 1/2" BSP socket which allows an injection valve to be screwed into the rear of the injection quill assembly. This allows the injection valve (which is supplied with the dosing pump) to provide the non-return functionality in the completed assembly.
As well as the 1/2" BSP socket the injection lance includes an isolating ball valve which allows the injection quill to be withdrawn and isolated from the process for cleaning and maintenance.
The process connection of the injection quill is from a 1/2" BSP male thread and the stinger has a maximum insertion length of 250mm or 10" as standard. Other lengths are available as required.

SS-INJ-Q Features & Benefits
The SS-INJ-Q stainless steel injection valve is of simple design and robust construction, to provide a reliable way of delivering chemical reagents directly into the centre of process pipework.
Designed to seamlessly integrate with existing dosing pump fittings, an injection valve is simply screwed into the 1/2" BSP threaded socket at the rear of the injection quill and the 1/2" BSP process connection is inserted into the pipework. The injection valve and socket assembly provide the non-return valve functionality for the injection quill.
With a standard insertion length of 500mm, the SS-INJ-Q is designed to work with a range of pipe diameters and the isolation valve allows the injection quill to be withdrawn from the process for periodic maintenance and cleaning.
The SS-INJ-Q stainless steel injection quill can prolong the life span of metal pipework by ensuring that chemical is delivered directly to the centre of flow. This improves chemical contact time and prevents the chemical reagent from collecting against the side of the pipework.

The SS-INJ-Q is a 316 Stainless Steel injection quill designed for delivering chemical reagents directly into the centre of a pipe line. The SS-INJ-Q includes an isolation valve, allowing the injection lance to be removed from the process and the process connection isolated.
With the included isolation valve the chemical injection quill can be easily cleaned or periodic maintenance carried out.
The SS-INJ-Q has a 1/2" BSP socket to allow an injection valve to be screwed into place and provide the non-return functionality of the valve.
Measuring 250mm in length the SS-INJ-Q can be trimmed to length so suit a wide range of pipe diameters from a maximum 20" diameter.
