Automated Water & Effluent Ltd are a major supplier fo dosing and control equipment to the water, waste water, and process control industries.
Due to demand we are looking for an experienced Service Engineer who lives locally to join our team as a Service Engineer where product training will be given.
Initially the Service Engineer will be based at our Stafford facility and will work in our workshops and be trained on our range of equipment, which will include testing finished equipment before shipping to customers.
After a successful period of on the job training the applicant will accompany our field Service Engineers on site visits before taking on the tour of a field Service Engineer.
The Service Engineer will visit customer sites unaccompanied to complete routine service visits which includes Servicing Equipment, calibrating instrumentation and the commissioning of equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
The Service Engineer role is a customer facing position, where equipment used in a wide range of applications is serviced both at our Stafford facility and the premises of our customers.
We welcome applicants that are conscientious in their approach and presentable to our customers.
The Service Engineer should be well organised and be able to manage their own diaries and schedules.
Working as both a member of a small team and working on your own, the successful applicant should be able to work on their own initiative as well as in a small team with others.
A qualification in Electrical / Instrumentation or Electronic Engineer is desirable, although appropriate experience will be considered.
The role is on a permanent basis with an annual salary of between £26'000 - £28'000 dependent upon suitability and experience.
Upon successful completion of in house training the Service Engineer position includes a company car, satellite navigation, smart phone, and inclusion into the company pension scheme.
