pH/Redox Electrodes
To complement our range of pH and Redox instruments we supply a wide range of pH and Redox electrodes for many industrial applications the most common applications are:
Dip or submersion electrodes where the electrode is installed in the top of a vented or open vessel, sump, pit stream or channel. The electrode system maybe either mounted by means of spring clips or by the mounting flange, it should be easily accessible to remove for cleaning and calibration. Our electrodes feature either full glass bulbs with a guard for fast response domed bulbs or low profile easy clean sensors. Our holders are manufactured in either PVC for use up to 50°C or Kynar (PVDF) for use at elevated temperatures. Note as the solution temperature increases the life of the sensor is likely to reduce.
For inline, ie:- where the electrode forms part of the pipeline, installed in a bypass or taken off a large diameter pipe where the flow can be isolated by valves before and after the electrode system, we offer systems in PVC, Kynar (PVDF) and 316 stainless steel.
Insertion electrodes maybe installed into larger diameter pipeline or the side of a vessel if angled up from horizontal by a minimum of 10°, the vessel or pipe should be able to be drained for removal of the electrode for maintenance and calibration. For applications where this is not always possible our Lock - N - Load retractable electrode system is the ideal solution being manufactured in PVC, Kynar or 316 stainless steel.
Replacement electrodes are available to suit other manufacturers' instruments which often outperform the original, please contact us with your requirements.
Dip Electrodes
Our dip electrode systems are compatible with most pH instruments except those with preamplifiers or other electronic devices encapsulated inside the electrode.

Inline Electrodes
The PES range of electrode holders will hold any of the AWE Instruments 9000 series of electrodes fitted with the ryton flared caps. The holders are designed for easy calibration & maintenance.
Electrode replacement requires no tools and can be accomplished in a few minutes.
PES1-QR inline pH or Redox electrode holder with a quick release fitting to enable easy removal from the line for cleaning and calibration. The electrode is fitted with a bulb guard to prevent damage.
Insertion electrodes
PES3-SS is manufactured from 316 stainless steel or for greater mechanical strength and high temperature use in the Dairy or Brewing industries.
PES3-K is manufactured from PVDF for greater chemical resistance and high temperature use.
PES 2-QR Flow line system 2” in P.V.C. tee with quick release fitting & electrode.
RES 2-QR Flow line system 2” in P.V.C. tee with quick release fitting & platinum combination redox electrode.

Accessories
LMK1 Our special low noise pH extension cable with black graphite coated heavy duty copper centre core.
pH - Ex LMK1 cable ready made up in to a pH extension cables to connect your pH meter to a pH electrode system. Length to suit your requirements with connectors and impedance tested before delivery. For cable runs in excess of 50 meters use a 2 wire transmitter or microtransmitter preamplifier.
PJ - B Weatherproof pH J- box with connectors for use with ATC electrodes
Simulators
APS2 AWE. Instruments pH and mV simulator used for checking the calibration of any pH instrument with a conventional pH electrode input. Special circuit to check for loss of impedance on the input.
AIS1 AWE. Instruments current simulator 0 - 22 mA in 12 steps used for calibrating the input into any device which has a current input from a transmitter.
