Applications for our red dosing pumps or chemical metering pumps are numerous. To meet the applications we offer chemical dosing pumps, which will mount on a flat vertical surface such as a wall and will draw the chemical from a chemical carboy.

The wall mounted dosing pumps are available in 2 different types.

We have the AWE HY Series Metering Pump and the more powerful AWE AT Series Metering Pump that offers dosing up to 60 Litres per hour and pressures of up to 20 Bar

Traditionally our customers associate us with Water, Waste Water (Effluent) Treatment and pH or Redox control. However, every waste water treatment plant or process that uses the water produces waste water. In that process are many applications for accurately metering the required chemical treatment additives to ensure efficient and cost effective production.

AWE have been supplying red dosing pumps since 1994 and have a large installed base of this type of metering pump in the UK and throughout the world

HY-Series Dosing Pump

The HY-Series is our latest series of diaphragm dosing pumps. They have a fixed stroke length and the output is controlled by adjusting the pump frequency or number of strokes per minute the pump solenoid makes.

The HY Series of metering pump can be found in a wide variety of industrial applications including:

• Detergent Dosing
• Cooling Tower Biocide Dosing
• Inhibitor Dosing
• Swimming Pool Treatment
• Chemical Dosing
• pH Adjustment
• Industrial Process Dosing

The AWE HY Series of metering pump are supplied with accessories comprising of a foot valve strainer unit, injection fitting soft PVC and rigid LDPE hoses.

AWE HY-BX Metering Pump

The HY-BX is our entry level model of Red Dosing Pump with manually adjustable output by means of a potentiometer scaled between 0-100%.

The mains supply is 230 VAC, 50Hz, only

The AWE HY-BX series is also fitted with a power LED indicator

AWE HY-BL Metering Pump

The AWE HY-BL model of red dosing pump offers the addition of two output flow ranges.

• With the output switch in position "C" it offers a range of 0-100% of the rated output
• With the output switch in position "P" it offers a range of 0-20% of the rated output

The dual adjustment of output flow ranges enables greater control and accuracy of at lower flow rates making the HY BL an excellent precision metering pump for low volume dosing.

The AWE HY-BL Red Dosing Pump has an input from a volt free contact, which can be connected to an optional float switch. This float switch can be used to stop the pump when a low chemical level is reached

The AWE HY-BL Metering Pump mains supply is by switch mode power supply - 100 VAC to 240 VAC and 50Hz / 60Hz

AWE HY-BC Metering Pump

The AWE HY-BC Red Dosing Pump is selectable for manual control by the potentiometer or can be controlled with external pacing from a digital signal of 0-160 pulses per minute with a divide by 4 mode.

In addition to controlling the HY-BC Dosing Pump from a pulse counter - The metering pump can also take an input from a volt free contact which can be used as a low level cut out. The HY-BC Red Dosing Pump is also fitted with a switch mode power supply ensuring that it can run from 100 VAC to 240 VAC at 50Hz / 60 HZ.

AWE HY-AM Metering Pump

The analogue AWE HY-AM Red Dosing Pump has selectable control from either manual control through the top mounted potentiometer which features on all our AWE HY series red dosing pumps, or external pacing through a 4-20mA analogue control signal.

The HY-AM Red Dosing Pump also has fitted power on LED, Low Level Input and switch mode power supply from 100 VAC to 240 VAC at 50Hz or 60 HZ.

AWE AT-Series Dosing Pump

The AWE AT Series of Solenoid Operated Diaphragm Dosing Pumps come in a huge range of models to suit almost every application. The AT Series are offered four frame or solenoid sizes:

• AWE AT2
• AWE AT3
• AWE AT4

Our four sizes of solenoid operated diaphragm dosing pumps offer outputs from 1.5 L/Hr up to 60 L/Hr with pressures up to 20 BAR (at 1.5 L/Hr).

Across all output types and control options the following features are common to all our AWE AT Series Red Dosing Pumps

• Common Hose Connections of either 4 x 6mm or 8 x 12mm LDPE - Low Density Polyethylene Hose


• Switch Mode Power Supply - Allowing the pump to operate from any AC supply from 100 to 240 VAC either 50Hz or 60HZ


• The PVC or PVDF Pump Head is fitted with a valve to aid priming of the pump


• All AWE AT Series of dosing pump are supplied with a Foot Valve and strainer assembly


• Injection Valve with built in non-return valve


• a length of semi rigid LDPE dosing hose and soft PVC suction tubing

Each of AWE AT Series of Dosing Pump Output models can be combined with one of the following types of control model models - we offer a wide range of control from Simple Manual Control Dosing Pumps through to easy to program full microprocessor controlled dosing pumps.

AWE AT BX Metering Pump

The AWE AT BX Series Metering Pump is our basic Red Dosing Pump - with manually adjustable output by means of a potentiometer scaled 0-100%. As with all our AWE AT Series Dosing Pumps - mains supply is from a switch mode power supply from 100 to 240 VAC at 50Hz / 60Hz which can reduce your requirement to hold stock of both 110 and 240 volt mains supply and export requirements not frequency dependent.

AWE AT BL Metering Pump

The AWE AT BL Series Metering Pump has the added feature of a low chemical level input, when fitted with the optional low level float switch the pump will stop dosing when the chemical reagent is measured as being low level

As with all our AWE AT series dosing pumps we are able to supply suction lance assemblies for pumping out of chemical carboys.

AWE AT AM Metering Pump

The AWE AT AM Series Metering Pump features selectable Auto or Manual control.

Manually controlling the dosing pump gives two scales - either:

• 0-100% of the output, or
• 0-20% of the output

This allows for greater accuracy of setting the output without the complication of stroke adjustment

When selecting Auto Control this can be from either

• An external pacing input from a volt free contact closure with the ability to either multiply or divide the number of strokes the pump makes per input pulse.
• Alternatively the dosing pump can be controlled by a 4-20mA control signal which can control the pump proportional to the magnitude of the current input

As with all the AWE AT Series of metering pumps -: the PVC / PVDF head is fitted with a valve to aid priming of the pump.

AWE AT MT Metering Pump

The AWE AT MT Series Metering Pump are microprocessor controlled with an LCD back lighting, display with two 16 digit rows that provide information about:

• the dosing pump setting
• Flow rate
• Functioning Statistics and
• Password protection

The AWE AT MT dosing pump features manual or auto control from an industry standard 4-20mA input.

Significantly The AWE AT MT features an auto input from a PFM signal of the pump outputs with the ability for batch controlled dosing or dosing to the required PPM of concentration.

AT MT Dosing Pump and Metering Pump Common Specifications

Common specifications to all the AT series of pumps are hose connections that are either 4 x 6mm or 8 x 12mm LDPE low density polyethylene hose making the pumps easily interchangeable with our existing pumps already installed

The AT series dosing pumps feature a switch mode power supply allowing the pump to operate from any AC supply from 100 VAC to 240 VAC either 50hZ or 60hZ. This reduces your requirement to hold stock of both 110 and 240 volt mains supply pumps and export requirements are not frequency dependent

The PVC/PVDF head is fitted with a valve to aid priming of the pump

All of our AT series dosing pumps are supplied with a set of installation accessories which comprises foot valve and strainer assembly, injection valve with built in non return valve, a short length of semi rigid LDPE dosing hose and a soft PVC suction tubing

ATBX Red Metering Pump offers switch mode voltage :-meaning that the metering pump can operate with a voltage ranginge from 110 - 240 VAC with a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz while maintaing excellent presicision dosing across a range of pressures and flow rates.
