AWE have been supplying cooling water controllers for many years to the chemical water treatment trade
Our New Cooling Water Controller range is designed to provide cost effective dosing and control evaporative cooling towers. They are simple to install and operate providing precision and accurate control of your process.
The range is split into two product lines.
- For Oxidising Biocides
- For non-oxidising biocides
We offer have a solution where the Oxidising biocide is controlled by the redox value and the bleed is TDS controlled. The non-oxidising biocide is controlled by 7, 14 or 28 day timer. The model number for this option is the M05-CT-CDRH
We offer dual biocide timers and TDS controlled bleed. The dual non-oxidising biocides are controlled by 7, 14 or 28 day timer
The model number for this option is M05-CT-CD
Both models control a bleed valve using the TDS value derived by an electrolytic conductivity input from a conductivity measuring cell to an easily adjusted preset value over a range of 0 - 20.00 mS which is equivalent to approximately 14,000 PPM TDS (Total dissolved solids.)
M05-CT-CDRH - Oxidising Biocide Cooling Water Controller
The M05-CT-CDRH Cooling Water Controller for Oxidising Biocide us a microprocessor based controlled designed for precise measurement and control of an evaporative cooling tower.
Featuring a compact and custom designed and manufactured surface housing in corrosion resistant ABS designed to IP65 standard and with a separate terminal housing
The M05-CT-CDRH features biocide dosing by 7, 14, or 28 day real time clock, Oxidising biocide dosing by Redox (ORP) control which maybe on / off or by time proportional control allowing the use of a standard dosing pump or solenoid valve for brominator control.
The TDS control is by conductivity controller with bleed limit timer. There is also a water meter input for make up water flow, so the feed water flow can be totalised. There is also a common alarm relay for any of the alarms
The M05-CT-CDRH Cooling Water Controller for Oxidising Biocide has two 4-20mA current outputs available. These can be used for connecting to BMS monitoring systems - with one output for the conductivity value and the second for the redox millivolt potential.
The unit is able to include optional data-logging via an SD card which be downloaded and imported into MS Excel or Apple Numbers to produce tabular or graphical representations of the data.
An optional GSM Modem adaptor is available for the M05-CT-CDRH to create a GSM Equipped Cooling Water Controller
The unit has a switch mode power supply and is suitable for a mains supply of 100 - 240 VAC at 50 / 60Hz allowing the unit to be used in many overseas locations
M05-CT-CD Non-Oxidising Biocide Cooling Water Controller
The M05-CT-CD is a Non-Oxidising Biocide Cooling Water Controller and features a microprocessor based controlled designed for precision measurement and control of an evaporative cooling tower.
Featuring a compact custom designed and manufactured surface mounting housing in corrosion resistant ABS to IP65 standard with a separate terminal housing.
Th eTDS is controlled by an electrolytic conductivity controller and conductivity measuring cell to an easily adjusted preset value over a range of 0 - 20.00mS which is equivalent to approximately 14,000 PPM TDS.
The M05-CT-CD Cooling water controller has a bleed limit timer which is operated when dosing biocide to prevent the treatment being waster should the system happen to call for bleed during the dosing cycle
The M05 has a water meter input for the make-up water flow so that the feed water flow can be totalised in the instrument and there is also a common alarm relay for any of the alarms.
The M05-CT-CD has a 4-20mA analogue output for connection to a BMS monitoring system for conductivity.
There is optional data logging via an SD Card which can allows the data from the instrument to imported into a computer and then tabulated or conveyed graphically using standard software such as Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers
