Cooling Water Controllers: The New Range

AWE have been supplying cooling water controllers for many years to the chemical water treatment trade

Many of our customers ask for the cooling water controller to be personalised with their own company name and logo and very often prefer to have controls specified to their own requirements

Our revised ACW range of Cooling Water Controllers can offer just what the customer requires. Being based on a standard PLC, we are able to customise the unit to suit most requirements

The new models replace the following models:

• ACW1
• ACW2
• ACW3

and carries the Model numbers of

• ACW10
• ACW20
• ACW30

The new model numbers of our cooling water controllers enable us to differentiate from the original models. The original models of cooling water controller can still be supplied.

The major improvement to the new controllers is the addition of a text display and keypads on the front panel, which greatly improves the setting up of the controller.

Cooling Water Controller: ACW10

The functions for the ACW10 Cooling Water Controller are as follows:

• ACWC10 cooling water controllers for flow proportional bleed and inhibitor feed.
• A Water Meter input to integrate the water flowing into the tower after a preset volume has entered the tower.
• The bleed value operates for a pre-set time and then the inhibitor pumps for a pre-set time to add the chemical reagent.

Cooling Water Controller: ACW20

In addition to the features of the ACW10 - The ACW20 is fitted with a dual channel real time clock for biocide dosing

Cooling Water Controller: ACW30

Further to the ACW20 - the ACW30 includes:

• TDS control by conductivity: with a readout of conductivity in mS and an adjustable set point for the bleed valve.
• The conductivity sensor is a high linearity graphite sensor with quick release fitting for the easy removal of the electrode to aid calibration and installation.

Cooling Water Controller: ACW40

The ACW40 Cooling Tower Controller is a new model which features:

• Oxidising Biocide dosing by Redox Control.
• Non-Oxidising Biocide Dosing via a real time clock.

and

• Inhibitor Dosing which is proportional to make up flow
• TDS control by conductivity

The ACW40 also features chemical limit and bleed lockout timer

Package Options

The ACWC range of Cooling Water Controller can be supplied pre-assembled on a back plate with manifold, with dosing pumps from our range of RDP (Red Dosing Pumps), with a bleed valve and sample / drain valve

The FL310 - is a flow line conductivity cell which can works with our Cooling Water Controller Range. The FL3 10 is manufactured with a K=1.0 value and is desinged to work with pressures up to 50°C. The pressure range can reach 3 Bar.
